With the industry trending towards analytics, our team is growing.

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and build modern data pipelines and streams for our clients.

Reporting to the Lead Analytics Architect, the Data Engineer will collaborate with our team and clients to integrate, transform, and consolidate data to build analytics solutions.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to design, develop, and document the following for our clients: Data Models, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakes.

Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and/or SSIS packages to integrate data from client systems.

Implement complex data transformations e.g., complex T-SQL, stored procedures, views, python scripts, etc.

Work closely with other team members, to understand requirements and convert them to technical specifications.

Research, document, and share knowledge with the project team.

Requirements: Experience developing solutions using: SQL, Python, Powershell Demonstrated skills in most or all of the following: SQL Database Azure Synapse Azure Synapse Notebooks Azure Data Factory Data Lake Databricks SQL Server Integration Services Able to explain best practices: ETL and ELT DevOps/DataOps Testing and quality assurance Requirements gathering Kimball Methodology Knowledge Required: 2 years of Data Engineering skills in an Azure cloud or on-premise environment.

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Technical Certificate in combination with equivalent work experience.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate would be considered an asset.
