Change Management Specialist

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted October 3, 2018.

Groupe ONEPOINT is seeking an ITSM specialist to join a process & controls team. The primary objectives for this position is to provide exceptional service with respect to day to day activities related to change, incident, problem, release and request management.

MISSIONS:

  • Confirms appropriateness of Primary and affected CIs.
  • Confirms overall data quality adheres to documented standards for details such as Description, Justification Details, Impact Description, Implementation Plan, and Rollback Plan
  • Confirms stakeholders are included and appropriately assigned: Implementers,
  • Approvers, Watchers, etc. Confirms Start/End Times and Duration are appropriate
  • Checks and advises on general schedule conflicts Accept or Reject the Change Record and notify Stakeholders
  • Raises change issues and co-ordinate their resolution (scheduling conflicts, compliance with standards, procedures, etc.)
  • Manage and lead weekly change review meeting Track, trend and report on change tickets
  • Assist with the co-coordination and communication of all major changes and projects ensuring that the impact and support requirements are clear to all teams locally and globally
  • Update CMDB and Application repositories as needed

  • The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years working experience within Change, Incident & Problem Management functions. 
  • In additional to this, further experience within the Service Management or IT Production function would be beneficial to this role (i.e. Release Management, Configuration Management, Software Control & Distribution, Service Management, Help Desk)
  • ITIL certified to Service Management Foundation level
  • Knowledge of ITSM and Asset toolkits (e.g. Service-Now & ADDM) would be advantageous
  • Understanding of Risk Management and Project Management
  • Understanding of the management of Configuration Items (hardware & software)
  • Experience working in the Financial Services industry would be advantageous.
