Take your ambitions to the next level

The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing the client’s context and business needs or processes within the framework of files of moderate complexity that may require linkages in one or more business areas. He/she will design and implement business solutions and strategies, and analyze their impact on the organization. He/she will interact with stakeholders, users, and contributors, and be responsible for ensuring overall project compliance with business needs and organizational objectives.

The incumbent will work closely with clients, the delivery team and management. He/she will be involved in the full solution implementation cycle and will ensure that all stakeholders involved understand the solution.

More specifically, the incumbent will analyze the business requirements of a project in order to:

  • Identify, define, analyze, and then document the project requirements;
  • Understand the business context and the impact of projects on the organization’s processes;
  • Apply modelling and analysis tools and ensure follow-up during testing and implementation.


  • Analyze situations to understand the organization’s problems and seize opportunities;
  • Identify, analyze, document and validate the organization’s business needs and requirements;
  • Advise and assist clients or users in a perspective of organizational improvement and innovation;
  • Define the scope of the solution;
  • Communicate and present the solution;
  • Evaluate and validate the effectiveness of a solution in relation to needs and requirements;
  • Specify and document the objectives of the projects or solutions, their added value, or the expected benefits;
  • Translate business requirements into technical objectives for development teams;
  • Develop performance indicators;
  • Support the development of change management strategies and plans;
  • Take part in the development of the communication plan;
  • Carry out activities related to training;
  • Participate in organizational and project risk analysis and measurement;
  • Participate in quality control activities (work process review, impact analysis, cost/benefit analysis, etc.).

Does this sound like you?

  • University degree;
  • Certification in Business Analysis, CBAP or PMI-PBA, an asset;
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role (essential);
  • Experience in Agile mode and with tools such as Jira or Confluence (essential);
  • Good level of adaptability to imponderables and project methods;
  • Resilience;
  • Knowledge of the banking and financial industry;
  • Excellent knowledge of business analysis best practices and methodologies (BABOK);
  • Analytical and conceptual skills;
  • Knowledge of requirements modelling and technical documentation;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Customer oriented;
  • Communication with teams in both French and English languages. Level expected:
    • French: 3/4
    • English: 4/4
