The ISIEM project (Integration of Systems and Inventories for Equipment Management) aims to optimize the supply chain performance of the organization’s construction projects. In particular, the project seeks to improve:

  • the quality of the technical information characterizing the equipment that is transmitted to the operator;
  • the visibility of the equipment ordered or reserved, from the expression of needs by engineering through to its installation and commissioning at the end of the construction work;
  • the efficiency of the group’s teams.

It consists, among other things, of:

  • providing project participants with a multi-platform application interfaced with the company’s information systems, including SAP MM and PM, and automating certain processes;
  • labelling the main equipment at the source with a QR code containing its technical characteristics and allowing them to be read.

The technological solution is designed and developed by a team from the Information and Communications Technology Group (ICTG) in close collaboration with an implementation team representing the target users of the groups concerned. The resource sought will act as a Business Analyst within the latter team and as a Product Owner (PO). He/she will be responsible for completing the scope specifically associated with the logistics of the material in the field.

  • Model and document detailed business processes;
  • Analyze, prioritize and detail the business requirements developed in the pre-project phase;
  • Collaborate with the ICTG development team in translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications;
  • Define and document the data required in the user interfaces;
  • Define and document business rules;
  • Act as a PO within the DevOps team;
  • Validate that the proposed IT solutions meet business requirements and objectives;
  • Participate in the implementation of changes to business processes and work procedures;
  • Participate in the definition of test cases and the execution of tests;
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the change strategy (communication, training, etc.);
  • Identify and implement the relevant performance indicators in relation to the expected benefits.

When it just clicks!

Does this sound like you?

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis;
  • Demonstrated experience in at least two (2) large-scale information system implementation projects;
  • Very good experience in business process modelling and transformation;
  • Experience with approaches based on Agile principles;
  • Good experience in planning and facilitating workshops with large groups (20 stakeholders);
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French;
  • Ability to work with stakeholders from different sectors;
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Knowledge of the supply chain, supply chain management, and the construction industry, an asset;
  • Functional knowledge of SAP MM and PM modules, an asset
  • Certification in business analysis (IIBA, etc.), an asset;
  • Knowledge of BPMN, an asset;
  • Communication with teams in French and English. Level expected:
