Analyst, Software Deployment


This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted November 8, 2021.

As part of the Information Systems and Technology team, the Analyst, Software Deployment is responsible for the distribution of software, drivers and updates, from package creation to distribution, and progress assessment. The incumbent will work closely with the Coordinator, Deployment Solutions and hardware and software specialists.


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in deployment solution management using Microsoft SCCM, from product structuring to technical solution deployment.
  • A solid understanding of package configuration for distribution via SCCM is required. Solid proficiency with PowerShell, Visual Basic or any other languages used by Microsoft to create packages and deploy software.
  • Demonstrated depth and breadth of knowledge about adding value with software solutions. Ability to find suitable software solutions for BRP’s specific needs.
  • Functional and technical experience using Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to automate user workstation configuration.
  • Proven ability to work and collaborate in a complex environment and effectively influence a diverse team of information technology professionals.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills as well as spoken and written communication skills in English and French
