Talent Development Manager

Ecosystem

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted September 12, 2018.

We implement turnkey energy projects to optimize the performance of institutional, commercial and industrial buildings. Your Role 

Reporting to the Talent and Culture Director, you will hold a strategic role for talent development for all of Ecosystem’s offices.

You will implement employee engagement strategies to improve Ecosystem’s organizational performance. You will ensure that all employees can express their full potential, and will contribute to building exceptional teams that are ready to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor programs and tools related to skills development, succession management, leadership development, performance evaluation, and employee retention.
  • Advise managers regarding the talent development of their teams.
  • Advise the company regarding talent management, performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, recognition, and engagement.
  • Develop talent attraction strategies and optimize selection tools for all of Ecosystem’s recruitment needs.
  • Draft preliminary versions of roles and responsibilities (R&R) descriptions for new positions and update R&R descriptions for existing positions. 
  • Support managers during organizational changes.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor degree in human resources and a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in talent management
  • Ability to implement relevant strategies and initiatives for talent development
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and French
  • Driven and committed to results
  • Ability to remain agile and act quickly even when faced with uncertainty
  • Strong team player
  • Mobility (travel to other offices 4 to 7 days a month)
