What you can expect when joining the team

Reporting to the Vice-President of HR and Culture, you will join the team at the forefront of our growth. You will support your partners and build relationships to provide a high caliber candidate and manager experience. You will use your understanding of the field to quickly target the required profiles and help Petal build a world-class software development company.

Your daily life

Working out of Montreal or Quebec city, you will be led to:

  • Act as a strategic, operational and tactical advisor to your partners in order to properly target their needs and adapt the strategy allowing you to fill positions in an optimal and sustainable manner;
  • Perform the full recruitment cycle (sourcing, selection, candidate assessments, interviews, offer negotiations) ensuring an unparalleled candidate and manager experience;
  • Deal with different types of roles, with a focus on the typical positions of a SaaS software company (web developer, DevOps, UX / UI designer, product owner, etc.);
  • Collaborate with your colleagues in the human resources department to build coherent and effective talent attraction strategies;
  • Build a network of professional contacts that will provide you with the agility you need to meet our changing needs (schools, associations, etc.);
  • Regularly contribute to the development of new concepts and techniques to acquire critical talent;
  • Ensure the management and integrity of data within Recruitee, our ATS, ensuring consistency of processes, including compliance with provincial and legal requirements and corporate standards.

Your profile

Are you an experienced talent acquisition professional recognized for your natural ability to connect with people and sniff out cultural fit? Are you an autonomous and proactive person who knows how to recognize priorities? Are you driven by the challenge of a fast-growing company and the chance to leave your mark? The sky is the limit! If you have:

  • A passion for talent acquisition and a minimum of 3 years in a similar role;
  • Experience in the field of SaaS software as well as a global understanding of the departments and the types of roles found there;
  • A mastery of technological tools, such as ATS (Recruitee preferably) and LinkedIn, as well as an in-depth understanding of Boolean search methods;
  • A strong sense of organization and recognized experience in managing simultaneous projects;
  • A team spirit based on collaboration and authentic relationships;
  • Openness to change and a developed capacity for adaptation;
  • Agility and a level of comfort in a fast pace of work;
  • Full English / French proficiency.
