Senior Product Marketing Manager

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted October 19, 2021.

Founded in Quebec City in 2010, Petal is a dynamic and growing company made up of a team of over 200 enthusiasts who have developed innovative productivity tools for healthcare professionals. Secure messaging, online booking, schedule management, medical billing and hospital console: all on iOS, Android and our online application!

We will soon reach 50,000 users and have no intention of slowing down in our mission to simplify the daily lives of physicians, improve the efficiency of the health system and ultimately improve patient care.

What you can expect when joining the team

Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital and Product Marketing, you will use your expertise to establish a harmonious link between the product, sales and field marketing departments. You will bring product positioning and messaging to life through a compelling narrative approach that will communicate our value proposition, differentiating our solutions and driving demand for our current and future products.

Your daily life

During the day, you will be led to :

  • Analyze market and healthcare network data to create action plans aimed at our target clients and markets;
  • Deepen your understanding of our markets, technological partners and competition;
  • Take ownership of user communication, product marketing messages and the targeted client journey;
  • Define the value proposition and help develop sales tools to support the marketing strategy;
  • Participate in the training of sales teams so that they can position themselves in a coherent manner with the defined strategy;
  • Participate in the development of marketing programs in order to support the acquisition of new customers, cross-selling and up-selling in target industries and market segments;
  • Develop personas and use cases;
  • Work with product owners to maintain content and support for their product lines;
  • Collaborate with the field marketing team to generate leads and a marketing pipeline;
  • Manage marketing product launches – schedule and associated deliverables, in collaboration with members of the product and sales promotion team;
  • Develop materials and deliverables to support launches;
  • Measure and analyze campaign and marketing success;
  • Deliver performance reports to leadership and other stakeholders

Your profile

Are you an experienced and engaging product marketing professional, recognized for your ability to understand complex concepts, identify and simplify key information? Are you looking for the opportunity to be the bridge between analysis and action in a fast-paced environment? Are you motivated by the opportunity to work in a growing organization that values team work, learning and constant improvement? The sky is the limit! If you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, administration or any other field relevant to the position;
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience;
  • Demonstrated writing skills (short and long descriptions, summaries, technical, etc.);
  • A demonstrated ability to think critically, simplify and clarify key information;
  • A track-record that demonstrates your capacity to deliver and your willingness to try new approaches and learn from your experience;
  • In-depth knowledge of market analysis and development of new territories;
  • Knowledge of the health industry and information technology (major asset);
  • A natural ease in synthesizing information, storytelling, as well as visualizing and defining the customer journey;
  • English-French bilingualism orally and in writing – mandatory.
