They continually invest in research and development programs to ensure a fair response to the needs of their customers.

The tasks consist of:
– Participating in the implementation of recruitment strategies and application assessment by coordinating pre-employment tests (psychometric, physical, technical, etc.).

– Completing the full staffing cycle (from job postings to interviews to candidate onboarding) and verifying the information required for hiring.

– Observing employee training needs, coordinating training accordingly and evaluating the training process.

– Creating human resources practice improvement tools and participating in human resources management activities.

– Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by participating in discussions and activities with the OHS committee.

– Ensuring that OHS programs are updated and continuously improved and that current standards are met by coaching managers to communicate with their teams.

– Coordinating human resources meetings to support managers in human resources management and ensure clear internal communication.

– Updating employee records on a regular basis and managing vacation, sick leave, absences and special leave as per current policy.

– Performing other related tasks to ensure good human resources management.

Requirements:
– Training in human resources, career guidance, industrial relations or other relevant training.

– Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and sector (manufacturing or unionized environment).

– Fluent in spoken and written French in addition to an intermediate level of English.

– Knowledge of the Quebec labour laws and standards.

– Knowing and easily being able to use the Microsoft Office suite.

– Being a member of the Ordre des CRHA ou CRIA and having completed the OHS course are two great assets.
