Our client, specializing in IT solutions is currently hiring a Senior HR business partner


Reporting to the vice-president, the successful candidate will serve as resource person for managers for all matters related to the company’s HR practices, policies and procedures. The candidate will also play a key role in execution of the company’s expansion plans, combining operational and strategic activities.

Specifically, the Senior HR Business Partner will:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including needs analysis, drafting position descriptions, identify the best recruitment strategies and methods, managing the interview process, and negotiating salary packages with new hires;
  • Work closely with the marketing team to help build mindshare within local community and generate positive public relations with a view to attract top entrepreneurial talent that will support its continued hyper-growth.
  • Support managers in new-employee orientation and integration
  • Help managers conduct annual performance and salary reviews
  • Identify employees’ training needs in collaboration with managers, coordinate the execution of training plans, and gather the information required for managing activities related to Bill 90
  • Manage payroll and vacations
  • Keep pay equity up to date and ensure that compensation policies promote employee attraction and retention
  • Ensure communication of and respect for the organization’s culture and values
  • Ensure the coherence of messaging and advancement of the employer’s brand internally and externally
  • Streamline salary structures and implement a pay grade system
  • Develop an standardize a revised employment agreement for all staff

Skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations or business administration; CHRP designation is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years experience in human resources management, ideally in an information-technology SME; Superior headhunting experience is an asset
  • Previously held an HR position in a growing company
  • Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, tact

  • Flexibility, creative and strong team player
  • Analytical skills and good judgment

  • Ability to manage several matters simultaneously
