This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted June 12, 2025.

Would you like to combine leadership and helping relationships? This position gives you the opportunity to supervise a dynamic team while offering stimulating activities in the home to people living with neurocognitive disorders, while providing valuable respite to their caregivers.

Your role will be:

Intervention

  • Make initial visits to clients’ homes and follow up with people waiting for services
  • Design and lead personalized therapeutic stimulation activities (cognitive, sensory, physical, etc.) in clients’ homes
  • Offer respite and stimulation services in a safe environment that respects the Company’s values for the person being cared for and their caregiver
  • Write intervention reports and ensure record-keeping complies with standards

Team management

  • Independently manage and supervise the operations of the homecare team
  • Plan schedules and match caregivers with families
  • Lead team meetings to support caregivers in complex cases and assist them in developing and leading their activities
  • Ensure administrative follow-up of the caregiver team (write reports, apply procedures and best practices, take inventory of stimulation equipment, collect statistical data)
  • Manage the waiting list and ensure the quality of services offered.

You will need:

  • Degree in social work, recreology, psycho-education, gerontology, special education or related field.
  • Experience in designing and facilitating therapeutic stimulation activities using the person-centred approach for interventions with people living with a neurocognitive disorder
  • Strong autonomy, proactivity and experience in team management
  • Ability to travel throughout the island of Montreal (work in clients’ homes)
  • Functional command of spoken English preferred, to work with an English-speaking clientele (approximately 40%).
