MedStaff is currently recruiting for Visiting Nurses (RN/RPN) within the Keswick and Georgina areas We are currently offering a sign-on bonus of $750 for these areasResponsibilities:In collaboration with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionals, help formulate a plan of care based on patient assessmentProvide nursing care to patients according to the written plan of careEvaluate effectiveness of treatment plan(s) and adjust accordingly in consultation with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionalsAct as a patient advocate by protecting and promoting patient rightsPromote patient safety and assist them in living comfortably in their home environmentShare nursing knowledge and expertise with other health care providers.Qualifications:Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with College of Nurses of OntarioOne (1) year recent experience in the communityExcellent problem solving, time management, and crisis resolution skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience with Information TechnologyValid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is a requirementSecond language is considered an assetWe thank you for applying to S.R.T.
