Specialty Representative, Women’s Health (British-Columbia Vancouver East-Okanagan)Territory:Vancouver East/Okanagan/BC interior (including Prince-George)Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Specialty Representative Women’s health is responsible for achieving annual sales and business objectives within his/her geography.

These objectives are achieved through partnering with physicians and other healthcare professionals in and beyond teaching and community hospitals and clinics, with the goal of changing prescribing behaviors, closing health care gaps and improving patient outcomes and quality of life.The Specialty Representative – Women’s Health:Effectively demonstrates ownership for the business on his/her assigned territory by fully understanding the health care environment, assessing and identifying key customers (Health Care Professionals) and engaging in the right mix of activities in support of assigned product(s) while ensuring a customer-focused approach.Thinks & acts strategically to develop and implement territory business plan that will result in achievement of the territory sales results and organizational goals.The ability to work in both a team environment, as well as individually, is essential.Represents our Company in a complex business environment that is constantly being shaped by competitive activities, government legislation, clinical practices and technological developments.The incumbent will complete his/her tasks in a manner fully consistent with our Company’s commitment to its Code of conduct, Our Values and Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards and all laws and regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (Bus Admin., Commerce, Science)Proven results as a pharmaceutical sales representativeKnowledge of the women’s health (Contraception, Hormonal therapy) & Asthma markets/productsis a strong assetProven understanding of the reimbursement system in the territoryAbility to rapidly learn and clearly communicate scientific concepts and dataAbility to engage in a complex patient management discussion where the candidate can effectively use disease and product knowledge as well as market access and patient-physician support expertise to provide value to our customersAbility to analyze, produce, execute and track a territory business planProven ability to rapidly build networks and relationships based on trust and second to none customer focusHigh level of proficiency in negotiation skills as well as how to manage objections and adversityDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team that is field or office basedProficiency in office technology and related softwareAbility to travel provincially and occasionally nationallyA spotless record of ethics and compliance to all industry rules and regulationsValid Driver’s licenseLanguage: EnglishWe are an equal opportunity employer, committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.Who we are …Organon delivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
