ALPHA LABS Program Manager – Mobile and Short-Term Lab Collections Alpha Labs is a values based, public-purposed private company with two clear missions: to reform community medical laboratory services for the benefit of patients, and to build a new confidence in the quality assurance of health-related products.

The Program Manager, Mobile and Short-Term Collections is a new full-time position responsible for the operations of our mobile medical laboratory services for homebound Ontarians as well as our special purpose collection sites, including sites for COVID-19 testing.

Through your leadership of our skilled and dedicated staff, you will ensure that patients receive compassionate, professional, and convenient specimen collection service.

You will embody a strong philosophy of patient-consumer caring and service to help ensure patient well-being is always at the centre of all our efforts.

You bring a deep understanding of how to optimally support and collaborate with our clinician-clients, who include hard working physicians and nurse practitioners in community practise across Southern and Central Ontario.

The Program Manager Mobile and Short-Term Collections reports to our Director of Patient Services and will oversee individuals and teams providing critical specimen collection services in a variety of community settings, ensuring safety, efficient deployment, ongoing training and development, service effectiveness, and superior logistical support.

We are looking for an energetic current or emerging leader from a healthcare services field, preferably a RPN or RN background, with experience in roles of progressive responsibility in supervision or management.

Program Manager Requirements and Qualifications
· A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in nursing, along with management or, business or healthcare disciplines or equivalent management experience is required together with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a healthcare or related service setting.

Familiarity with medical laboratory testing and phlebotomy is highly desired as is extensive customer support experience.
