SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Person who handles activities associated with design, orientation, consultation, updating, analysis and evaluation activities in one or more psychosocial programs.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
As clinical advisor, this person will provide clinical support, coaching, assess professional activities and provide guidance and counselling to social workers, human relations officers and community workers from one or more social programs within the communities.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: * University degree in social work;* Member of the Ordre professionnel des travailleurs sociaux et de thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Quebéc.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in various fields and programs.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Good understanding of psychosocial issues;
- Ability to apply Eeyou/Eenou culture, values traditions and teachings into programs and services where possible;

Ability in the identification and analysis of the professional's need;

Ability to communicate theoretical and practical knowledge, as applied to coaching and training;
- Ability to facilitate group case discussions;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Autonomous, discrete and empathetic;
- Team work capabilities.
LANGUAGE* Fluent in English;* Fluency in Cree or French is an asset.
OTHER* Willing to travel to various communities.
