This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted February 7, 2018.

Minogue Medical is looking for a Manager, Health Economics & Market Access Canada. He/she will develop and execute applied health economic “value creation & demonstration”strategies and tactical go-to-market patient access plans for targeted region(s) for the Minogue Medical medical technologies including the daVinci Surgical Robotic system. The candidate will work with Minogue Medical sales, field engineering, executive and communications teams as well as Intuitive Surgical’s (ISI) Commercial Excellence Team to provide a multi-disciplinary consultative selling approach to influential stakeholders and economic decisionmakers and develop a strategic working networks across Canada. 

The candidate will lead engagement with various Canadian hospitalproviders/systems, technology assessment, physician, ministry, and payer organizations to demonstrate the applied clinical/economic value ofMinogue Medical technologies.This will be achieved via creating and disseminating clinical/economic materials, predictive and utility modeling, market archetype segmentationstrategies and strategic industry insights to address patient access challenges; influencing clinical/economic barriers to adoption. This positionwill be an influential health economic and patient access advisor and full business partner to various Minogue Medical and Intuitive Surgicalcross-functional groups.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience or an advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) with 3+ years’ experience in: market access,health economics, health policy, medical affairs or market development.
  • Healthcare medical device, pharma or hospital/health system industry experience is required.


  • Broad based experience and working knowledge of Canadian hospital provider/physician/policymaking, technology assessment agencies,ministry and reimbursement challenges and trends impacting technology and patient access adoption.
  • Experience and comfort in presenting and defending evidence with key clinical and economic decision makers in meetings.
  • Experience in building, managing and leading health economic, market access, patient access and/or medical affairs projects and teams.
  • Experience with government relations and working on health technology assessments is a plus.
  • Excellent communications skills (French and English).
