Urban Planner


This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted March 13, 2018.

Passionate about analysing the phenomena that shape living environments, the many issues related to their development, and the influence of cities and regions, the urban planner will be called on to work on multiple projects, mainly for public-sector clients.

Key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Participating in the visual design, development and planning of various urban planning  projects
  • Producing various graphic documents (maps, statistics, etc.)
  • Drafting reports and analyses,  developing urban planning and other tools
  • Realizing studies and analyses of urban and transportation issues
  • Conducting regulatory, site and insertion context analyses
  • Formulating written arguments and environmental characterization studies
  • Drawing up service proposals.

  • University double major in urban design and urban planning, architecture or landscape architecture
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Member of the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp and Office suite
  • Excellent French and English (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of LEED-ND an advantage
  • Aptitude for teamwork
  • Ability to manage several dossiers simultaneously under tight deadline
  • Independence and initiative
  • Creativity and proactive approach to finding solutions
