Salary(Grade:NC8) Hiring salary range $79273-$100,134 Position Purpose Plans, coordinates, and facilitates the research and training activities of the Centre for Indigenous Community Infrastructure, including indigenous community engagement, project identification and procurement, and expert support for research and training projects.

Translates strategies into program plans and deliverables in order to meet program objectives while promoting service excellence.

Provides support to event planning and general administration for the Centre.

Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the core business of the programFive years of related experience in program or project managementExperience in working with Indigenous communities and lived experience of Indigenous culturesDegree in civil engineering or equivalent considered an assetExperience in planning and managing budgetsExperience in interpreting performance metrics in support of evidence-based decision-makingExperience in working in a postsecondary institution or other complex organization is an assetSkilled in the use of all Microsoft Office software Skilled in the use of web content management applications is an assetStrong organizational abilities and consistent attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentAbility to produce high quality work in an environment with multiple, strict deadlinesAbility to collaborate with multiple stakeholdersDemonstrated success in working in a team settingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProven commitment to client satisfactionAvailability to occasionally work outside of normal office hoursAvailability to occasionally travel outside the regionBilingualism French, English and/or Indigenous language Key Competencies Key competencies required at the University of Ottawa:Planning: Organize in time a series of actions or events in order to achieve an objective or a project.
