Service Operator

Service operator is responsible for monitoring all ENERCON’s turbine in Canada.  Will proceed to remotely troubleshooting turbines.  Will do service calls to site managers, and on-call teams. 

Main responsibilities:

• Performance monitoring of ENERCON’s wind turbines in Canada.

• First to respond to downed turbine and begin troubleshooting process remotely.

• Provide ongoing information on the state of the turbines to service teams.

• Support to Site Managers by occasionally providing work orders via Click-Schedule.

• Keep up to date knowledges on technical database and turbines.

• Professional correspondence with site managers, service technicians and customers.

• Ensure safe and efficient operations by monitoring service teams.

• Ensure adequate coverage of shift rotations.

Your qualifications:

• Vocational or College diploma, electrical, mechanical or electromechanical.

• Aptitude with electrical or mechanical components and concepts.

• Experience in Wind Energy, electrical or mechanical field an asset.

• Highly motivated and organized person capable of handling multiple priorities.

• Working on a rotating shift of days, nights, evenings and weekends.

• Bilingual (French and English).

• Strong personal computer skills with in-depth experience in MS Office Package.

• Experience with SAP an asset.
