Project manager in architecture – Major projects

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted September 5, 2018.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the project director, the project manager designs and implements high-profile projects, supervising a multidisciplinary project team and coordinating the work of various external collaborators.

His/her tasks will be as follows:

  • Supervising a multidisciplinary project team
  • Coordinating the work of various external collaborators
  • Producing feasibility studies, functional and technical programs and budgetary studies
  • Coordinating plans, construction details and site supervision
  • Drafting technical specifications and documents required for approvals and construction permits
  • Producing project cost estimates
  • Delivering client presentations
  • Participating in service offer development and fee proposals
  • Developing work plans for deliverables, monitoring fees
  • Producing timelines for deliverables, assigning tasks and coordinating project teams
  • Managing administrative aspect of contracts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture
  • Membership in the Ordre des architectes du Québec
  • Minimum 10 years of architectural experience
  • Experience managing projects of over $30 million
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Bilingualism (oral and written)
  • Independent, proactive problem-solver
  • Good stress management
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, under tight deadline
