Project Leader, Infrastructure


This is a Full-time position in Terrebonne, QC posted January 8, 2022.

” Under the direction of the Head of Department, Infrastructures and Asset Management of Valcourt, you will be part of a team made up of multidisciplinary project managers, engineers and technicians to coordinate building construction projects, factories and BRP office space planning in Canada and the United States.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Organize and chair regular meetings with internal customers to modify the monitoring of requirements and the establishment of facility plans, construction projects and layouts; Carry out requests for quotes, orders and follow-up on parts & equipment purchases; Lead development drawings with various professional engineers & architects; Monitor and supervise site work; Analyze the risks of each project and lead action plans in reaction with the dates of deliverables and the budgets to respect Manage the documentation required for the projects (tender documents, contracts, change requests, etc.); Utilize principles of Operational Excellence in your work Prepare various project status report presentations (PPT) to present the projects and their progress to the rest of the team; Organize coordination meetings for project monitoring projects (Gantt, progress schedule, budgets, changes, risks and opportunities) YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor in mechanical engineering or project management; Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience Knowledge of Smartsheet (Gantt), Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite Have good general knowledge in factory building Fluency in both oral and written French and English (4/5) Sense of organization and rigor Teamwork and leadership Ability to analyze and synthesize Excellent communication skills ASSETS PMP (Project Management Professional) Operational excellence knowledge and experience (LEAN) Autocad WELCOME TO BRP We’re a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, creating innovative ways to move on snow, water, asphalt, dirt and even in the air.
