Infrastructure Integration Specialist


This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted June 16, 2022.

The role of Infrastructure Integration Specialist entails providing support project teams with support in the materials and time planning of their infrastructure requirements.

In collaboration with the EUC, Infrastructure and Telecom operations support teams, the specialist will liaise with the project teams to ensure the timely delivery of requirements in accordance with the processes in place.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting the project managers in identifying their infrastructure requirements.

Assisting the project managers in preparing and financially assessing their Project Initiation Request (“Decision package” and CAARs) with the IS&T triad or the Business.

Supporting the project managers in documenting their requirements and ensuring the involvement of the right operational teams.

Supporting the project managers in the resource reservation process.

Working together with the Performance Coordinator, validating the ability of existing environments to support the proposed projects.

Helping to identify requirements and deadlines for the acquisition of goods.

Supporting the project managers in the operational processes in place internally as well as with our partners (Transfer to Operations, Derogation, CAB, Requests etc.).

Supporting the project managers in identifying the required activities in collaboration with operations teams.

Identifying and proposing improvements to existing operational processes.

Representing the operations teams at the PMO for the operational requirements.

Ensuring smooth communications between the various stakeholders.

Working together with the SDMs (Service Delivery Managers) to coordinate the portfolio of projects financed by the business.

Supporting the project manager as they complete CAARs (Capital Asset Acquisition Requests) as part of business projects.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related studies, or equivalent experience Minimum of five years of experience in information systems Extensive experience in the core infrastructure disciplines (Tel/net, servers and EUC) Bilingual (French, English) Experience in business relationship management and project management Excellent communication skills Very good judgment skills Autonomous and willing to take initiative Leadership skills and the ability to work well with interdisciplinary teams.
