We are currently looking for an INSDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN to join our team of maintenance and infrastructure at our offices located in Ville Saint-Laurent.

Your Mandate Reporting to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for performing various electrical maintenance tasks.

The candidate must have good electrical knowledge and good experience with programmable logic controllers.

More specifically, you will have the following responsibilities: Act as a technical guarantor to operations; Ensure that internal and external electrical construction work meets government standards; Read logic diagrams and understand the operating principles of programmable logic controllers; Perform preventive maintenance according to work orders; As part of maintenance, to analyze and diagnose electrical problems, to replace various components, determine the causes and recommend effective corrective methods to prevent recurrence; Work on the installation of various electrical components such as: cable trays, electrical cables, frequency inverter systems, programmable logic controllers, power motors, instrumentation, and control devices; Solve PLC and instrumentation problems; Determine the parts needed and estimate the quantities required to carry out maintenance work and projects; Work in collaboration with members of the maintenance and production team; Actively participate in continuous improvement activities; Apply and comply with occupational health and safety regulations.

Profile Vocational studies program (DEP) in electricity; Hold a master’s certification in construction electricity from the Régie du Bâtiment du Québec (R.B.Q); Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance electricity; PLC troubleshooting capability; Bilingual
– French & English; Good communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills; Possess a strong aptitude for problem solving and diagnosis; Work in a safe manner; Be responsible and autonomous; Ability to take initiatives and decisions; Attention to detail with good verbal and written skills; This position is on the day shift.

The candidate must be willing to respond to after-hours service calls and to attend the facility when required.
