We are looking for an experienced Big Commerce Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead client calls to gather their technical and design requirements
• Propose solutions to clients to address their needs
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean codes to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Qualifications:

• BigCommerce certification – Required
• At least 3 years of experience with BigCommerce
• Experience with BigCommerce projects
• Knowledge about SOLID
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Experience doing discovery sessions with clients
• Experience working with different web development languages (i.e PHP, MySQL, GIT, KnockoutJs, ElasticSearch, Rest, GraphQL)
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
• English (must), French (preferred)
