Technicial Artist – Process & Pipeline

Reflector Entertainment is a cross-platform entertainment company committed to creating rich, innovative Storyworlds that give rise to timeless mythologies. We believe each medium is unique and can be leveraged for a tailored storytelling approach. We are currently building a catalogue of IPs that we will be developing into film, tv series, podcasts, comic books, graphic novels, video games, AR/VR experiences and other new medium.

Reflector draws on the combined strengths and resources of the co-founders: Guy Laliberté (founder of Cirque du Soleil) and Alexandre Amancio (writer, director, producer and AAA game developer behind Assassin’s Creed). The company is based in Montreal and is a division of Lune Rouge.Our team is growing fast and we are currently looking for AAA talent that will drive our ambitious, large scale projects.


The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidiscipline environment, defining artistic solutions and procedures that meet the requirements of the project’s design and technical bibles.


  • Work under the direct responsibility of the technical director;
  • Collaborate closely with art team and programmers to define technically satisfying solutions; 
  • Experiment heavily with game engine to determine best technical approaches; 
  • Adapt to artistic and technical constraints to create tools, processes and benchmarks that maximize production flow; 
  • Help establish best practices for creating art assets; 
  • Track and validate art assets; 
  • Monitor game performances, and help optimize in-game budgets; 
  • Provide daily support to art and technical team; 
  • Ensure the creation of technical documentation to be used by art production team. 


  • Bachelor Degree in a related field; 
  • A minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience in game industry; 
  • Has shipped at least 1 game as a Technical Artist; preferably on a ‘AAA’ console title; 
  • High-level artistic sensibilities and strong technical skills; 
  • Proficient with 3DS Max and/or Maya and Photoshop; 
  • Significant experience with game engines, and overall understanding of the artistic pipeline and workflow;
  • Autonomous and flexible with work organization; 
  • Organized and able to structure processes; 
  • Passionate about playing and making games; 
  • Results-oriented; 
  • Good team player; 
  • Ability to adapt to change; 
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
