SUMMARY The candidate will be involved in the development of software systems for the control of digital flat panel sensors for X-ray mammography.

As part of our projects, the software developer will leverage his passion, ingenuity and experience for X-ray detector software development.

The individual will be part of a multidisciplinary development team with cross-functional skills such as software engineering, systems engineering and physical engineering.

TASK DESCRIPTION Design of digital sensor control software for medical applications.

Design, build and maintain reliable, efficient, scalable and reusable C code.

Maintain and enhance software architecture of software systems for digital sensors.

Identify bugs and propose solutions to solve them.

Maintain the quality, the organization of different modules.

Participate in the design of test benches for digital sensor control software.

Will be involved in the design, implementation, testing and documentation of software systems for digital sensors.

Collaborate on the analysis of physical data and design of image processing algorithms.

May be called upon to manage development projects.

Work according to the Agile software development process.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR THE TASK We are looking for creative individuals who are curious and want to develop an expertise in digital sensors and their software systems as well as their medical applications.

REQUIREMENTS University degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 6-9 years of relevant experience in software development.

Proven competence in C , Python and Object Oriented Design.

Experience in software architecture design.

In-depth knowledge of standard libraries, STLs and algorithms.

Knowledge of the Agile / scrum software development process and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.

Experience in GPU programming is an asset.

Knowledge of digital sensor technologies for X-ray medical imaging and their applications an asset Experience in project management an asset.

Familiar with Visual Studio, Windows and Linux environments.

Experience in digital image processing and signal processing for medical applications an asset.

Strong communication skills, collaboration, report writing, analytical skills and problem solving skills.

Excellent skills for teamwork.

Bilingual (French, English).
