Junior Marketing DesignerLondon Ontario 100 Kellog LanePredictive Marketing at automotiveMastermind is a talented group of individuals who focus on bringing innovative approaches to marketing.

Our team creates and manages the production of B2C marketing campaigns on behalf of our automotive dealer partners.We are seeking a Junior Marketing Designer with a strong background in design for marketing communication.

Having the ability to navigate and adapt your work to different sets of brand compliance guidelines, you will be tasked with creating new campaigns from conceptualization to production.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of typography, color theory, visual composition and design hierarchy.

A strong awareness of industry trends and best practices and adept knowledge of effective design techniques will set you apart from the pack.Responsibilities
·Design automotive marketing campaigns for direct mail, email and social channels
·Collaborate with campaign managers, marketing developers and vendors to assess project briefs and provide design solutions
·Collaborate with senior designers to ideate, test and create production ready campaign files
·Assist with monthly campaign updates and periodical updates to overall campaign design and imagery
·Prepare design files with proper organization of artboards, assets and brand profiles
·Maintain organization of brand assets and update as new content is made available (logos, colours, fonts, etc.)
·Develop a detailed knowledge of brand CI guidelines and brand voice, and apply across all marketing campaigns
·Periodically assist with ad-hoc design requests (presentations, one-pagers, etc.)Required Skills & Experience
·Bachelor’s Degree in Design or a related field
·Up to 3 years experience working as a Junior Marketing Designer or in a related field
·Experience using Photoshop and Illustrator
·Sketch, Figma, XD or similar UX prototyping tool is a plus
·Experience using Indesign is an asset.
·An intermediate understanding of print and digital design
·Marketing experience.
·Email design experience.
·Knowledge of variable data would be considered an asset.
·A solid portfolio of bold ideas and thoughtful execution
·Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·A meticulous approach to work and a keen eye for detail
·Adept at maintaining high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
·Ability to research and document industry trends and best practices
