This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted March 12, 2018.


Within the Order Management Team, the order manager is mainly responsible for handling and overseeing customer orders for product as they go through the different stages of the ordering process; executing order entry, order changes/maintenance, and tracking shipping and delivery.

The role also involves responding to a variety of customer inquiries pertaining to their orders, investigating issues and concerns using various computer systems/applications, and working towards a time sensitive response and resolution to inquiries and issues/concerns.


  • Handle data entry within Visual Next ERP including but not limited to: order entry and order maintenance.
  • Ensure that order details (quantities, item numbers and special requests) are complete and accurate.
  • Ensure timely actions requiring order maintenance which is time-sensitive.
  • Handle customer service inquiries related to products.
  • Work with internal team members to access and gather available information, conduct research/investigate in order to reach resolution for routine and non-routine inquiries and problems.
  • Assure prompt and accurate communication to customers and team members on issues and inquiries.
  • Provide clarification to customers on availability related to product.
  • Provide support to customers for Order Management including but not limited to: returns, delivery, inventory and credit holds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


  • College diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in order management or inventory management, data analysis, and/or customer service


  • Must have ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused and results-oriented environment
  • Requires ability to effectively listen and communicate, influence and resolve issues using various methods (telephone, email, face-to-face, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a team
  • Excellent attendance is critical to the success of the team
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including experience with Windows applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
  • Efficient at using multiple systems with strong preference for experience in software such as Visual Next ERP
