Receivables, Documentation Clerk

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted January 9, 2019.

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies.

Duties:

Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions; Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions; Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices; Maintains records by scanning invoices; Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information; Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries; Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures; Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report; Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential; Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed; Any other related tasks required.

Schedule

40 hours/week: 8am to 4h30pm (flexible)

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable experience (required), Transport experience (asset)

Proficient with Sage (Very important) and with Microsoft Tools, Experience with ADP or other Payroll software an asset
