Production Clerk

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted September 16, 2018.

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of the Central Manufacturing Workshop, the Logistics and Billing Clerk is responsible for coordinating orders from receipt of the order through to delivery, for a specific product.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive orders electronically
  • Initiate production
  • Do the follow-up of the complete manufacturing and assembly process
  • Prepare the shipping packaging
  • Coordinate logistics and shipping
  • Maintain a good relationship with customers and suppliers
  • Record the invoicing with rigor in the accounting system
  • Take an active part in the activities of the manufacturing workshop
  • Perform other tasks to contribute to the success of the Company

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Have a Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) in Accounting or in a related field
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a logistics position or similar

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Sage Simple Accounting software will be an asset
  • Bilingualism (French-English) is essential
