To be a paralegal at National Bank Investments, you must use your technical expertise to support the evolution of wealth management in order to ensure business processus in the context of National Bank’s investment fund manufacturing and distribution activities. Being part of the Legal and Regulatory Affairs team means maximizing the quality of the team’s interventions and services by acting as a resource person in your field of expertise. 

More details on your role? 

Participate in the preparation of fund renewal documents, including the prospectus and fund facts
Prepare and monitor various corporate documents
File documents with regulatory authorities
Perform database maintenance and update
Contribute to the billing process
Engaging with internal partners to collect data and information
Be bold, innovative and proactive in your work environment, including by formulating ideas that will improve the quality of services, systems and processes and by following up on files under your responsibility 

 Job requirements 

Collegial Diploma completed in paralegal technology or equivalent and one year of relevant experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and strong computer knowledge
Knowledge of DocuSign an asset
Rigour, attention to detail, autonomy and initiative
Knowledge of wealth management products is an asset
Organizational awareness, priority management and ability to manage multiple requests at the same time
Excellent knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written, as you’ll be interacting frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with external partners based outside Quebec, such as service providers, law firms, etc.
