Bilingual Disability Administrator – Montreal

Recruit Action provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses. We are currently looking for a Disability Administrator for one of our clients in Montreal.

We offer:

Primary Responsibilities:

Case Sorting (50-60%) – All incoming disability cases will be referred to the case coordinator to determine the level of complexity and to assign cases appropriately based on established criteria.Non-Complex Case Management (30-40%) – All non-complex disability cases will be resolved by the Coordinator, who must continually assess whether active cases remain uncomplicated or need to make the transition. from case to case manager. Emphasis will be placed on reducing administrative backlogs and reducing the duration of employee absences.Administrative tasks (10%) – Perform specific administrative tasks in all cases (for example, fax, form preparation, employee tracking) Communication (integrated with the above responsibilities) – Communicate effectively with employees and employers to determine all the factors influence the complexity of the cases, including the diagnosis, the duration of the disability and the presence of non-medical obstacles.Service Delivery (integrated with the above responsibilities) – Ensure that all service delivery objectives for AMCS products are achieved.


Bilingualism is required.Bachelor’s degree in health sciences (psychology, kinesiology, sports therapy, nursing, etc.) or DEC in health practice (physiotherapy, nursing, etc.)Knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance terminology would be an asset2 years previous experience in an administrative/clerical role would be an asset Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook / Office 365Excellent organizational skillsExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Solid office administration skills would be an assetStrong customer service experience in a demanding environment would be an assetExcellent problem-solving and decision making skills and mathematical aptitudeAnalytical skills with a close attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a team environmentDeadline driven
