Administrative counsellor – greeter

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted February 6, 2018.

Summary of responsibilities

To provide the most helpful and professional service and assistance to our clientele ensuring that all our families are provided with quality funeral services.

 Main duties

–  Greeting and providing customer service to all families; providing general information, answering telephone calls and calling clients, receiving and processing payments.
–  Performing general administrative work: data entry in HMIS, updating records, filing
–  Performing other tasks as required by supervisor.


–   High School Diploma / Post-secondary education would be an asset.

–   Prior experience in office and administrative work and customer service.

–   Fluently bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)/ knowledge of a third language would be an asset.

–   Computer literate: Word processing, e-mail programs, Internet, spreadsheet programs/ knowledge of HMIS would be an asset.

–   Intellectual: Detailed oriented.

–   Interpersonal: Social sense, able to understand the families’ needs, able to handle difficult customers, able to empathize, good communicator.

–   Attitudes and behaviors: Organized, able to work under pressure, quality oriented and autonomous.

Work motivations: To provide the best customer and administrative service to our clientele/staff and to process accurately all data.
