This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted November 26, 2018.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Chief Talent & Corporate Strategy Manager, the Administrative Coordinator, Human Resources and Benefits, provides administrative and operational support to Lemay’s Talent and Culture team. More specifically, his/her responsibilities will be as follows:

Recruiting

  • Preparing hiring documents and providing pre-employment liaison with future employees.
  • Coordinating arrival and integration of new employees.
  • Applying procedures related to staff movement and departures.

Employee benefits

  • Administering the group insurance plan for all employees:
  • Presenting the plan to new employees.
  • Managing membership and changes via the AGM portal.
  • Managing the wellness account program.
  • Verifying monthly invoicing.
  • Managing disability and return-to-work cases.

Administrative support

  • Answering employees’ questions about human resources management policies.
  • Ensuring employee files are up-to-date.
  • Issuing work and insurance confirmation letters.
  • Producing various reports using HR software (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Working closely with Payroll Services.
  • Supporting all HR processes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma in administration, with human resources profile or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience working in a human resources department.
  • Ability to manage several dossiers at once and set priorities.
  • Effective stress management and ease with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated precision, judgment, integrity and autonomy.
  • Client focus, resourcefulness, creativity, organizational skills.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, in French and English.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite.
