Administrative Assistant

Renewable Energy Systems Canada inc.

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted April 4, 2018.

Tasks

  • Assisting with certain and varied tasks related to supporting renewable energy development team, including tender preparation, etc. (to include scanning, copying, mailing, answering phones, data entry, FedEx shipments and courier service)
  • Support entering timesheet and expense information 
  • Work with AP with internal accounting software to ensure prompt and correct payments are made
  • Follow safety and security procedures and determine appropriate action.  Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly
  • Support to office manager and general office upkeep
  • Assist with coordination of company events
  • Maintain filing system
  • Order office supplies
  • Maintain contact lists and mailing lists
  • Provide general support to visitors to the Montreal office
  • Assist with travel arrangements when needed

 

Skills/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Advanced attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Bilingual Eng.-Fr.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant will be a plus
