No way Fun, freedom, flexibility is how QTG members describe the work culture here.What’s it like working as a Senior Salesforce Developer at Questrade?As the Senior Salesforce Developer at Questrade you will contribute to developing and implementing standard and custom salesforce applications that elevate customer experience and help Questrade enhance the customer’s journey.The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert on the technical aspects of the Salesforce application & demonstrate in-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the platform.Job responsibilities of the Senior Salesforce Developer includeWork with business stakeholders, product owner and team members to develop applications on the Salesforce platform.Experience in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Community Cloud.Design, Configure, and Develop solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, requirements and company goals.Expertise in Apex.

Extensive experience developing custom Apex Classes and Apex Triggers.Expertise in Salesforce Query and Search Language (SOQL and SOSL).

Must be able to speak to limitations of languages and differences between SOQL and SQL.Expertise in Salesforce Lightning.

Extensive experience developing Lightning Components both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Web Components in Java Script and Node.Js within the Aura framework.Experience developing Visualforce pages, Visualforce components and Customer Controllers.Experience creating Custom Report Types and developing custom Reports and Dashboards.Experience with interacting with external systems via Salesforce callouts.Experience developing applications that interact with Salesforce via the SOAP or REST APIs.Experience Firm understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, limit monitoring, and best-practices for limit-informed development.Experience in Deployment tools like VSCode with Git repository.Perform unit test and data validation.Ensure data security is enforced through the use of roles, profiles, and sharing rulesWork with Post Production Support team to optimize defect resolutionManage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of Salesforce users including assistance with report design and managementPerform data hygiene and align to best practices by performing routine maintenanceUnderstand the various integration points for Salesforce to enable use of Salesforce APIsBe actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clientsEstablish effective working relationships directly with clientsBe able to provide support in migration and merging sales cloud instance with service cloudMeet with the Sales Team to discuss the key requirements, estimate assumptions, document exclusionsManage key milestone delivery and scope of the projectIdentify designs that could be productizedProvide the design for review to the Solutions Architect on the projectBe able to work with vendors in transferring requirements and solution designs for implementation.Experience in effectively communicating with management, scrum master, test engineers, product owners, and other agile team members to design strategies that ensure the continued growth and innovation of the platform.Provide system administration and development support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflows, and be able to effectively communicate how to tackle problems and exceed our customers’ requirements.Collaborate with various internal departments, including Marketing, Sales, Claims, and Information Management to ensure the Salesforce environment supports the customers’ needs relating to functionality and performance.Are YOU our next Senior Salesforce Developer?
