MELROSE INVESTMENTS INC.is seeking candidates for anACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATORposition within ourIndustrial & Commercial Property Management Division.The Accounts Payable Coordinator will assist the Senior Accountant of our Property Management Division by carrying out general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.There will be some administrative functions carried out by the Accounts Payable Coordinator which will include filing, report preparation and assembly as assisting with special projects as requested by the Senior Accountant.We are seeking candidates who come with the followingabilities and experience:Experience working in a similar position within the Real Estate IndustryExperience with accounting and bookkeepingAble to process a high volume of transactions with accuracyExperience working with an Accounting platform/technologiesStrong computer software skillsExcellent time management and organizational abilityEnergetic team player who works well under pressureTheduties and responsibilitiescarried out by the Accounts Payable Coordinator will include (but not limited to):Full cycle accounts payable preparing invoices for approval, check GL coding, entering and recording invoices, processing and distributing cheques for paymentAccounts receivable depositing cheques, preparing AR invoices, assisting with the collection of outstanding paymentsProcess bank reconciliations for assigned portfoliosAssisting with the preparation of financial and operating reportsUpdating the GL for bank interest, service charges and other adjustmentsAssisting with the preparation of year-end auditor packagesCommunicating with various individuals to obtain approvals, purchase orders, completion slips, delivery slips, etc.Dealing with Trades & Suppliers regarding anyquestions related to invoicingGeneral administrative duties such as filing, maintaining accurate records, and preparing and updating reportsRegular Working Hours for this role are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pmMelrose Investments Inc.
