Accounting Technician

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted September 7, 2023.
Title : Accounting technician, 28h/week, remote work is possible
Under the supervision of general director, the accounting technician will be in charge all the operations related to the coop accounting activities such as payable and receivable accounts, billing and payroll. The accounting technician will have the following principal roles and responsibilities:
- Accounts payable;
- Accounts receivable;
- Perform accounting cycle;
- Payroll management;
- Fiscal year-end process;
- Contribute to the Co-op’s mission.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of relevant work experience;
- College degree in accounting (AEC/DEC);
- Working knowledge with accounting software;
- Intermediate Working knowledge of computer programs: Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Perfectly fluent in French and English, both spoken and written;
- Knowledge of the co-operative sector considered an asset.
